What a Day Part 2

I am just adding a few more pictures to John's post on our day in the mountains! 

What a day! We started out with Baylie and Jade getting out of their respective summer school and jump start programs. About noon, we piled into the suby wagon and headed for RMNP. On our way, Kinzie and Jade watched a movie, and Baylie gazed out of the window. Amber packed up plenty of snacks! We stopped at the park in Estes, and the kids played until the rain came in. We then proceeded to Rocky Mountain National Park. Let me tell you we will be going through there often. So beautiful! At on of the lakes (previously called spawlding by an anonymous source:) we packed up and hiked around the lake. We had many stops and even visited a chipmunk from Hollywood! (Ok, he or she was just brave, and sounding off:) If it were not for the rain (that decided to start 3/4 of the way of our hike in,) we would have gone to bear lake next. So we left and took the kids to a couple of rock shops where they proceeded to buy RARE GEMS! Ok, nice gems:) Then we found ourselves at WAPITI Grill. Let me tell you, they can cook! Then we had ice cream at Laura's and headed back to the park in Estes. On the way home Kinzie zonked out, and we all slept well.........

Rope World

Kinzie and Baylie went to a birthday party for one of Kinzie's little friends at a place called Rope World.  We had never been there.  It is an rope obstacle that was thought up by a physical ed teacher at a school in Longmont many, many years ago.  Here is the website for more information: RopeWorld  It is only available two weeks at a time, I believe either three or four times a year. We will for sure be going there again!

A whole lot of FUN!

Today we meet some of our long time friends at Bounce for some bouncing fun!!!!!  All the girls had a blast!  It was really hard to get a clear picture with all the bouncing, so you get the point of how much fun they had!  

After spending many hours bouncing we headed to a local park that has a little water park to play in.  There is also a place where you can go into the river water.  The kids had fun there too!

Welcome Home Jade!

Jade made her way home today after spending six weeks with her mom in Kansas!   We are so happy to have her home! We spent the evening swimming and then went to dinner.
